Anyways, it does go without saying that no map can be 100% balanced unless it's a perfect mirror, which is just plain boring. For example, I find a few specific command posts (like on Utapau or Mygeeto) to be freakishly annoying for the Clones/Rebels to take since the Droids/Imps start with them and they're stupidly placed. With no cover for anyone standing within capture range, it's hilariously easy for defenders to wipe them all out.
I mean, I like the variety at least, but it's 100% infuriating when reinforcements are low and you need to take the command post so enemies can stop spawning there.
(Especially in the campaign where they respawn infinitely so you can't thin them out long enough to waltz in and take it without just getting lucky. FML, Utapau in the campaign was a massive headache; my side was all but wiped out within one minute, and I had to painstakingly lead enemies on a wild goose chase, camp the medical droids, and double back for their CP before they got back.)
EDIT: Actually, I may as well share my secret weapon to compensating for times the game just gets brutal. Are you familiar with something called "Right Hand Advantage?"
Let me explain: The gun is held on the right side, right? And the 3rd person zoom puts the camera in such a way that the character is on the left so you can see more to the right, right? Well, imagine you need to stop enemies from getting through a doorway. If you stand on the left, you can be almost entirely behind cover while shooting at enemies in the open. If you stand on the right side of the doorway, you barely have any cover at all, since your entire left side is exposed; you're basically out in the open! In other words, get to the left, or get to the morgue.
This may sound obvious, but from my experience in other games, only the top 5-10% of players (if that) seem aware of this kind of mechanic. So I figured sharing may help. RHA leads to scores like the one I just had; Over 50 kills with only one death (Tattooine, Galactic Conquest, I was a Soldier the entire time, no jedi or anything.)

As mentioned, the AI is inconsistent. If you're not up front doing everything on your own, they hang back like useless idiots, and if you push ahead like a hero, they keep running in front of you to ensure you not only can't do anything without killing your own team, but also blocking your vision from seeing the enemy thermal detonator that landed near you.
Fortunately, Right Hand Advantage works wonders in that map, due to the narrow passageways. Doesn't make the AI any less annoying, though.
Btw, since I keep mentioning RHA, here's a screenshot example. Basically, you're in almost full cover, while still able to shoot freely.

Sorry I didn't snap a screenshot with actual combat; I play with a controller and my screenshot key is on my keyboard, so I just snapped that as an example to show a friend what I was talking about.
