Fixes for modding issues with mod.io
Please find below some fixes which can solve the most common issues with modding within Flashing Lights.

General issues
Deleting mod data can solve a whole host of different issues and is relatively easy to do.

First do the following
- press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - Type in C:\Users\Public and press ok - Delete the folder named mod.io
If you have already assigned mods in game, you should also do the following

- press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - type in Regedit and click ok. - once the registry editor opens, locate the folder Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NilsJakrins\FlashingLights - delete any entry that starts with Mod_ or Mods_

Unable to authorize
If you are stuck trying to authorize your account, then please try the following

- press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - type in %AppData% and press ok - Navigate to the following folder LocalLow/NilsJakrins/FlashingLights/mod.io/03693/User (You may need to go back a folder to get to LocalLow) - Delete the contents of the folder which should now be open

Mods not showing up after assigning
If your mods are not showing up after assigning them first try the following

- press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - Type in C:\Users\Public and press ok - Delete the folder named mod.io

If you find this doesn't work, then you may find that the mods are being installed to the incorrect location.

Try deleting the globalsettings.json file by doing the following
- Press the windows key + R to open the run console - Type in %AppData%/..\Local\mod.io and press ok. - Delete the globalsettings.json from within this folder

You can also set the installation directory for your mods manually by doing the following

- press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - type in %AppData% and press ok - Navigate to the following folder Local\mod.io (You may need to go back a folder to get to Local) - Open the file within this location (Globalsettings.json) and then modify the path found within here - Please note, the path must use 2 backslashes after the drive letter and sub folder excluding the last, so your path should look something like the following "D:\\folder1\\anotherfolder/modsinstallhere"

Thank you for being patient while we have some teething issues with Modding
