Are there any plans to optimize the new map or how the game runs, i use to be able to run it with a decent amount of stability with medium settings, however now it seems I struggle to run the new map even on low settings.

Could you share what are your Pc specs? There are more optimization in works, but I have no date in which update we can include them

I have the same problem. I bought the game a long time ago and I played it without problems, however after some updates it was literally impossible to play. It was like 1fps. My computer isn't the best one but I can run other games which are more demanding that this one. I hope I can play this one again because it makes lots of fun, especially with friends.
My specs are: 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5-6200 2.30GHz, Intel Graphics 520

Same problem after a long absence on your game
Lots of clipping even in low graphics
ESC key not working (Ctrl-Alt-Del to close the game) in game
The game crashes regularly now, I had never had this problem (I have the game since 2020)
Menu not at all intuitive without the use of the mouse, the arrow keys are not intuitive
Most games use the mouse pointer to select a choice and open scrolling menus
My game always opens in 1920x1080 windowed 4/3, each time I have to put 1920x1080 back in the graphics so that it is full screen
You should put the choice - Full screen, full screen with borders or windowed

My PC is older and never was top of the line but I can run much more demanding games with no problems. My PC has;
AMD 8 Core FX-8320 Vishra Processor @ 3.50 Ghz
Radeon RX 460
8GB of RAM

I also did try it another computer (very similar if not the same as one of the others above) with a;
Inten Core I5-6200U @ 2.30 Ghz
Intel Graphics 520
8GB of RAM
and the game was relatively unplayable.

It doesn't matter with pc specs at all, game is just poorly optimized.

I recently played again and the texture lag and pop-in is really bad but my experience is only in multiplayer. I figured it was just due to the server or the connection to the host. My pc is fairly decent, 7700k with a 3070, 16gb ram. I am about to upgrade my cpu and ram so we will see if that makes a difference.

When there are only 5-6 people on the server, I have about 15 FPS. My computer is doing great even with RDR2 on ultra :/

What it really needs is world rendering compression, so then things will load faster, but also smaller, otherwise without it just has too much data to try render which causes it to have such low fps.
