Hi there.

First you'll need an image editing program like Gimp, paint dot net, photoshop, etc.

You can get your templates from flmods.com.

Once you've actually made your skin, you can use this tutorial to get it in game.

I use gimp, I do like it a lot. No idea if that is the best ine but it works. (its free to use just need to download)
