Why are there no controller default controls?
Why does the game have no default controls mapped for a controller? We have to set up every single option to use a controller? I am using an XBOX One controller on Windows, and there are no predefined settings.

Yeah, I'm going to look at that. The game has been tested predominately with a mouse and keyboard and while you can map the xbox controller controls, we haven't done much testing which is why controller support is not checked on Steam. I'm gonna see if we can get a patch out with mapped controller support. Maybe once it has had a bit of testing from community and is at its best state I'll check the button to say it is supported. :) Thanks for the support!

i`m missing in bindings a is key/button for opening door, entering car , or chat enter , putting bad guy in backseat

Xbox one, steam controller and logitech driving force all work. The steering wheel is so nice for this game.

Thrust master X-box controller and a Logitec attack 3 joy stick can be mapped also to the controller functions in the menu, they work too..

does anyone have a picture or format that i can use for my xbox controller. having lots of problems with it right now. like looking around driving ect. please and thankyou

Did you go through the control settings? When you go into the -->settings -->controls you will see the listing for common functions, besides your guys movment and vehicle. And scroll that list too. The controller functions can be assigned in that list as well. The Mouse by default is used for looking around, you may want to try assigning your controller in the control section to the functions used for mouse look.

It is best to be in SP mode when doing this so you can config the controller to work the way you need it.. You can always re-set it back to default by selecting the default box if you mess up, and need to start again..

The only thing that don't work with the controller seems to be the sensitivity.. is it just me or a simple bug?

In each sensitivity box you will see one is a mouse, and the other is a controller. With the adjusted all the way to the right, it becomes more sensitive, if you set the to the left they become less sensitive. Because of the speed of my PC, I have both Mouse and controller adjusted to be a little less. So they are set the same.

If you have made adjustments, and nothing has changed in the sensitivity what so ever. Do a verify check and try again, if it is the same, send this infomation to support@excalibur-games.com.

*let them know what is being effected and what is not in regards of your sensitivity adjustments.

*Also send your computer specs as well. The reason for this is just in case it is not a bug, and it turns out it is just your system, is so fast, that they may need to make adjustment in the lower sensitivity rang to match.

How do you set the controller so the right stick moves the camera on foot and in vehicle? The keybind dialog is confusing as hell.

Thank you - that helped. However, there is still a lot of work involved in figuring out how to set up the controller keybinds. Any progress on having defaults so the game can be controlled fully with the controller? It's not much fun having to spend so much time mapping everything.
