addition to ssh "scp" command confimation

when i download something while in ssh using command scp -d can i get a confirmation that it has been downloaded and where it has in a visual representation in terminal window?

Generally terminal commands on UNIX systems do not give confirmation that the command has completed successfully. If after executing the command there is no error message, the command has been executed correctly.

For this there are exceptions such as ftp, which later will include its characteristic verbosity.
Anyway, I have your suggestion in mind.
