1. GreyHack - Best so far
2. Telehack - ??? I haven't played this one but it seems good
3. Hackmud - ??? Also haven't played and it has bad reviews online but it seems like a good one
4. Hacknet - the classic. It's good for training your WPM but not really realistic h4x
5. Uplink - has great reviews but I haven't played it. Also it's point and click I think
6. The Nightfall Incident (lego.com) - not really hacking but 10/10 atmosphere

Which has been completely abandoned by its lone developer. But it's a PlayWay title so pump and dump should be expected.

ThreatGen: Red vs Blue.

A bit more for spreading awareness than actual hacking. And it have blue team elements as well, something GreyHack is desperately missing. Still a good game in the genre.

Agreed. I remember playing Uplink back in the early 2000's. It is the grandpappy of all the others you play.

Grey hack is good but gets boring after a while. Not that many players. Grey hack deserves credit for creating a hacking persistent universe. (which they reset from time to time).

Phantom OS looks interesting but no word from the devs about time of release.
