scp - command not found

Ok so i've bounce connected in to my first mission pc. adminmonitor is up.. for now i'm safe, yet when i try to run scp command with correct syntax either on my own pc OR the target it just returns command not found.

I'm really trying to get this game to grow on me, but every time i read a guide, even the newest guides i'm coming up all the time with commands that simply don't exist for me in single player mode. its making me think i'm doing something desparately wrong.

Any pointers fellow Greyhackers?

scp will not work in your terminal on your own system. It will only work if you have a terminal shell. Also, it will not work in a ftp "shell" because that is not actually a shell.

If your terminal changes color when you connect to another system you will know that you have successfully established a shell connection.

It's difficult to figure out what might be going wrong for you, maybe you could post a screenshot so it will be easier to figure out what the problem is.

I managed to get scp working, so just wanted to reply to say a) thank you for replying. and b) just to mention that i've resolved my initial question.

You go to manual in grey hack and type in scp and there you get Shell.scp and thats the script command.
