nmap doesnt work
hello, i just can not figure out, how to use nmap-command. everytime i use it, the terminal responses "command not found". i got the software out of the shop, yes.

Make sure you are using IP addresses with nmap, not URLs.

is in your bin folder? if not you will have to cd into the folder it is saved

yes it is in my bin folder. atleast i created a folder namend bin in /homes...

you need to put it in the folder /bin not /home/[user]/bin

and how do i do that? like, if i create folder /bin, it just get created /home/user/bin...

Packages only work when they're located in /bin or /usr/bin (i know you can use them other ways but...why).

Your pc already has these folders as it wouldn't work without them. Try using the "mv" move command to put nmap in the proper location.

Make sure you are using IP addresses with nmap, not URLs.
