FTP Help
I'm pretty damn lost as to what to do in terms of the FTP hacks. I navigate to any directory and listing out what files are in there just turns up blank as if the computer consists of 3 files with nothing in them. I feel like I'm doing something completely wrong... Any ideas?

What does your mission tell you to get?

The mission was a credentials mission to collect the login info of a specific person.

Ah, so what you could do, if permissions allow for it, is to download the file that contains the password information, decipher it locally, the email the details. I’ll leave it to you to find what this file is.

Thanks for the quick response, the only problem is that there's nothing in any of the files... At least whenever I try to navigate to them and list off whats in them by doing for example, cd Desktop I just get nothing when I do ls to try to find what files are present (Or folders)

What were you expecting to find on the Desktop? If you haven't joined the Grey Hack Discord then definitely do so!

It wasn't only desktop, every folder was completely empty. And I'll do that! Thanks!

Even in the root of the system? /etc/ /sys/ /lib/ and others should always have files in them or the system would probably be inoperable.

Maybe try a "cd ../../.." command to go up three steps.

You may need higher permissions to get into them, but they should be there.

Or just use 'cd /' to go straight to the root of the file system.

Wow that's handy. I didn't try it in GH.

Thanks! I'll try to use those next time. I appreciate all the help you guys have given me. I think it might've just been a one time bug I was facing. But again, thanks!
