1. messed up weapon proficiency system is still there... to get 5 mobster to use at least one unique weapon you have to kill 1000 people... hooray !!!
2. messed up mobster payment system is still there... can't efford more than a handful mobster, normally only one top tier... hiring prices are coupled with your own economy, so that they want unbelieveable amounts of money in late game like 15.000$ at start and 8.000$ a week... you know what 15.000$ or 8.000$ were back in that days ??? It would be ~215.000$ and ~115.000$ today !!!!!
I could proceed with a huge list of other annoying things of the gameplay, but I'm through with this for now. I'm hitting uninstall and will have a look back when the first DLC comes out (which I sadly pre-bought with the deluxe edition).
1. The Weapon Proficiency System has always been there, now it's just more visible (you always got damage boosts and such with more kills). The Weapon Gating that was tied into it has been removed and is no longer in the game. So you don't need kills to equip higher quality weapons.
2. The Gangster Take & Take Floors have changed between the Open Beta and the live one, based on what you said. The top tier gangsters take 20% of your profits and have a flat take of 1000, much lower than what it was on the Open Beta. So you can hire 5 Top Tier Gangsters or a more rounded crew spread out over all the tiers.
Checked it again ingame: seems like they quickly took out the bonding of the weapon quality levels with the weapon proficiency level. The colors of the weapons are still in the menu like in the beta patch. So that's confusing...
The payment system is still broken... the top tier state they take 20% of my income which is ~34.000$ at all. But 20% of 34.000$ is 6.800$ and not 8.317$ (the exact amount they want in my last late game).
