Paradox responded to someone's request for info on this. This game is considered by them to be a "legacy" game, no longer in development on PC, although there were suggestions it was still on console. They said they have no plans on the 2nd DLC, and will most likely update that with the steam page. That's it.

I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but I was the one who contacted the Paradox Interactive support about release of DLC 2 in the Paradox forum. I did not share this news here since I bought the game on Xbox, but I should have posted here as well. As already stated, Empire of Sin for PC is no longer supported. You can read the whole communication between the support and I at below link.

I reported this game for fraud on the steam page ( the tiny flag like symbol to the right beside share ) the still sell the expansion pack version X_X full knowing the never release said expansion.

How in the world are they still selling the second DLC? It's not on the store page but it still has its own page that is linked to it. If they aren't going to release DLC 2, the page needs to be taken down.

Yep, update: now there is some guy on the paradox forums for the game that is listed as a Team lead for Customer Support who states that we should disregard what his "agent" said, that he got games mixed up and this is not a "legacy" game, although he could not say anything more about development news. When I pressed him, he said he has been "hounding" people weekly about getting development of the game going and the DLC, but he can only do so much. Claims he will shout any news from the rooftops unless someone else gets to it first. Sooo... Officially-ish maybe sorta not dead, maybe near dead but not completely dead, although I am not betting on it.

Thanks for the update. Given how long they've been promising DLC 2, with nothing actually happening, I still think they should stop selling it until it's actually released.
