Is this game abandoned by Paradox?

This is paradox weekend and whole their games are specialized without this game. Surviving Mars, Prison architect, Battetech but only this game is not presented on Steam. Is paradox dosent have expectation this game?

The store page says the Expansion pack 2 comes out in 10 days, anyone else notice that?? Don't know if it's true, but...that's what it says?

All it says is coming soon, which is what it's said since January when it was added as a store page.

Are you looking at the sale event timer?

No, when you hover over it on the expansion pass bundle, it says "Available: 31 May, 2022". I also came to the board to see if there's more info on it, cuz there's nothing when you open it,

I found the Expansion's webpage for the Nintendo Switch version, which marks the release date as being in December. https://ec.nintendo.com/AU/en/aocs/70050000022854

Dunno how accurate it is to Steam, but it's better than nothing.

I have to say, I dont regret buying this game. To be honest I played many hours, had many playthroughs and enjoyed it a lot when playing in an immersive way, but it is hard to RP..
For instance, as a true mafia fan, I was thrilled when I noticed you could have Dean Obanion, Bugs Moran and his other famous loyal gangster friend, I cant remember his real name. So obviously I started a playthrough with them. I really enjoyed interacting with Capone, it felt like the real life mob war between Northside and Southside crews. But again, you have to force yourself to RP it..

What other choice do I have.. There are no other gangster strategy games. Beggars cant be choosers.

I know guys, I played them all but as Kunovega mentionned they are not recent, I played all the best ones:
- Gangsters organised Crime
- Gangsters 2
- Gangland (by mediamobster)
- Escape from paradise city (Sort of a sequel to Gangland)
- The Boss: La Cosa Nostra (good proper mafia game but kind of empty and lacking many features - though it has a nice, engaging story, which I actually cared about)
- Omerta: City of Ganstgers
- City of Gangsters (new game, currently they are working on a nice DLC where you can finance election campagins)


These are the main games I know of, but except Organised Crime, the others dont really come close to it.. Let me know if you know other good games.

I only recently picked this game up for $13AUD and I’ve gotten about 80 hours out of it so far. I prefer the whole gangster theme than say Xcom but it is getting repetitive sadly now.

I admit I’ve had my eye on it but was waiting for it to come on special. I hope it gets some love in the future.
