Can you compare this game to omerta : city of gangster?
Hi,

For those who played both games, can you compare them, or not at all?

Kind Regards

This game has less "to do" than Omerta, sadly. I was expecting more.

omerta is better, but this game has so much potential

Omerta was a good game, but the fighting parts was trash. Is this one good?

This is way better than Omerta. Omerta always felt like rail shooter, always straight forward. This one feels more like a sandbox.

Omerta was way better compared to the current version of Empire of Sin. Give it a year, then come back and compare. It needs time.

Not even close to this masterpiece. But for now Empire of Sin is the closest you have on the market to Gangsters; organized crime

This game insults the 1998 classic of Gangsters: Organized Crime, that one was one of my favorite games growing up, and all these other want-to-be games are just total trash.

Omerta and Empire of Sin are similar; they both suck.
Clearly, opinions are diveded. Thanks everyone for answering. I have decided to wait a bit and hope to see scores go up. I almost pre ordered, but due to personal reasons couldn't and feel now kind off happy that I didn't. Let's wait it out and see.

Thanks again!

I kind of enjoyed Omerta despite itself, is was shallow, clunky and had basically no AI. It just had so much charm and we have been starved for gangster management games. This game, Empire of Sin feels a lot better, even in it's new buggy state. It has even better characters, combat feels better, It has actual AI for enemy gangs. The only thing that I like better in Omerta is the music.

Omerta was a joke, huge disappointment as what they promised it to be, this game is awesome and has so much potential, it has bugs, unbalanced in the state it is, but you can tell while playing, that this game is made with love.
