Now is the great chance to reboot Gangsters, Organised crimes by Hothouse Creation
Would it be possible to add those style mechanics into this reboot?

I sure hope so. Looks like there's a decent chance it might be similar, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

One of my favourite games growing up, hope it is a spiritual successor without the clunky UI! Multiplayer would be awesome as well.

Ugh, let us have a great singleplayer game in this style before we go there please.

I had the same idea! Gangster was (is) great but with some bugs on modern windows and emulators.

Gangster is still one of my most favorite games and cant even get close to most 2019 release games regarding gameplay and complexity

Gangsters: Organized Crime (GOC) is my favorite game also and I really hope Empire of Sin will be the perfect successor.
What I like in GOC was the fact to manage every single action, before and during the week (we can choose to finally surrender an order or wait, depending the live situation). I also like the fact that we can kidnap and corrupt mostly anyone we want in the game. Hope we will be able to do it in Empire of Sin ! :)

GOC was really ahead of time reagarding gaming. I cant believe it discontinued and is not available anymore or at least properly playable on Windows 10-

If they revived the Gangster series...omg....I could just die :))

I hope the devs notice how many people are desperate for a true successor to the first Gangsters. Tac combat is fine, I like tac combat, but I really hope they put the time into the strategic layer to make it at least as complex as Gangsters.

Lots of GOC fans here, hope they lean on to those great strategy games a bit.

No thanks, really prefer turn based combat myself :)

Yeah.... well, I personally wouldn't even bother if it didn't have any combat and besides I'm sure there are a lot more fans of Xcom style combat then the alternative you suggest.

I've honestly never played GOC but, i don't see how Xcom style combat could possibly be a bad thing considering how many people liked it.
