its a max incline rating, or tyre grippyness ( mu .. F = mu N .. ) ...eg display 20 deg, 30 ,40,50... And so, this is an upgrade item ? develop better tyres ? Its correct physics though, tyres grip to a certain angle. After that , now amount of power helps, it just spins the wheels. You also slide down sideways down the same slope you can't power up, and your tank has infinite power to stop the slide..
You can go uphill on solid ground, straight,
On loose ground, eg sand or grass, or with the tank not settled left to right, you get less traction .. perhaps the loose ground is rated too low. A 6 wheel drive vehicle tends to be able to get traction on any ground.
