Chapter endings (SPOILERS)

So does every route end with MC dying? I heard about a 3 hour route, but everything I've done so far has just resulted in Roui getting slashed.

The endings are the same, yes. The ax route is the longest, while the shovel one is the shortest. And depending on how you treat the characters they'll react to you differently and give you different items as well. Your choices affect the routes, different routes have different cutscenes, except the ending.

It has the same ending every time? I can stop my frustating search for a different ending then. I'm actually kind of disappointed there is not more.

I'll be honest, I'm on the verge of returning the game if this really is it. I loved it and all, but the trailers made it seem like there was way more, like an entire game already there. Yeah, theres 3 more chapters coming out in total, but if theyre all the same size as this, then it's probably not worth it. It seems like too much story to unpack in so little time.
