Selecting the shovel

I tried to replay the first chapter, before I play the second one, but I can't select the shovel from the menu to dig out the lamb.

Hi! You need to right click the shovel and then click the hand icon to use it.

Hi! I just bought the game and there is no longer a hand icon I guess? how do I use the shovel?

You need to use the right click of the mouse in the inventory menu, pointing on the item you want to hold in your hands ^^

I can not get any option to come up when I try All that I have read, A hand pops up for a brief second when I 'right-click' but I can not do anything before I get pushed back the the game screen.

It is very strange. Did you check the game files?
