Game got tagged as a Trojan

After being on my pc for over 1 year, this game randomly got detected as being a Trojan.

Surely this gotta be a false positive

Same here, also using Kaspersky just like Azzurus (blablabla I know russian software).
Saying its HEUR:Trojan-Ransom.Win32.PornoAsset.gen
I just installed the game for the first time today, so either an update to the game caused this or if OP has same antivirus a bug in the antivirus maybe?

4/71 antivirus software flag it, could just be false positives.

I have the same antivirus as both of you guys. Idk what happened it just told me out of the blue. I don't think there was a patch the fast few days.

It told me it was a HEUR:Trojan-Ransom.Win32.PornoAsset.gen too. Should be a false positive tho and it shouldn't hinder you from playing the game because it good af

Its out of our hands whether an antivirus flags the game or not. I recently had to get rid of AVG when it started preventing me from running GMS and was stubbornly ignoring any exceptions for It I was setting up. It's a finnicky affair.

Kaspersky also detect the monolith.exe as a trojan (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monolith\Monolith.exe;Monolith.exe;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MonolithHEUR:Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Dapato.gen

Just give the exe an exception.
