of course
i did configurate my controller so steam itselfs picks it up, most games do recognize it, if not all of them
I have been trying to get Xbox One wired controller work with no success.
Edit: I am experiencing the issue in Linux.
pretty self explanatory.
you have to do this with your keyboardm imagine that.
what a strange world we live in.
I am curious about the Steam controller settings mentioned by Wondo.
Thank you for your assistance. Do you have any other suggestion?
yu might have to relaunch steam, or reset your pc, and make sure it's being recpgnized by your pc.
like at the bototm of the screen, it'll say " xbox controller detected " and you can click identify, it should make your controller vibrate a bit
I have restarted both Steam and my PC. "Controller Settings" list the controller among "Detected Controllers" near the bottom of the screen. Clicking Identify makes the controller vibrate a bit. The controller still doesn't work in the game.
I have just realized that this thread is not platform specific, while I have thought it was Linux-specific. I am sorry it took me so long. I am running the game in Linux. TemmieNeko, have you tried running the game in Linux?
Prolly up to dev. Can confirm Xbox gamepads (360 wired and wireless through receiver, Xbox One wired) do not work in-game under Linux no matter what.
Though I hadn't tinkered much with linux itself, but steam's and game options don't do anything - it just doesn't work.
