Is the soundtrack made on Famitracker or something like that?

From what I've heard, the composer used a program called PXTone to create Monolith's soundtrack.

Oh, looks like that's the Cave Story program. Yeah the original CS soundtrack has a very legitimate NES feel to it too.

Can confirm that I did the soundtrack with PXTone Collage! I originally considered Famitracker, but given that it's a tracker-based program, it'd take me too long to make anything on it.

I based and built off my samples from the TERRA PULSE set of sounds that are available for free online, originally taking a few squarewaves, a triangle, sine, saw and a small set of the drums. Despite some limitation the software has, it's quite fun to work with! I wish there was more software like this.
