Pub next door to first shop?

In an earlier playthrough where I didn't know what I was doing yet, I had a man come by and open a pub next to my first shop. Now that I'm playing a more successful run, I haven't gotten the pub opening next to me and I'm not sure how to trigger this. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi! This happens after the clothing shop is already unlocked and you expand your shop a certain number of times, around 4-5 times. At the end of that shop day, the prompt should show up. Hope that helps!
