Why isn't the Steam version getting updated?
Please consider bring this update to steam... Do not let your fans down...
@WeAreOblivion The game is partially reprogrammed and levels are completely redesigned. A few new bosses and enemies, new music. It's a complete revamp of the arcade game. Story mode is cut. It's goes back to the original pre Kickstarter design. I can't take the things from Kickstarter out of the original game because of backers paying for things. It's a complicated mess.
So the original is what the Kickstarter game turned into with all the additions from Kickstarter tiers. Royal Edition is probably 75% back to the original design. Putting the new changes in would entirely break the old game. So Royal Edition is much much closer to the game I wanted to make and not what we ended up with after Kickstarter.
Thanks for the response. I do not know this was a only one man game. I know it is very difficult to keep up on these pandemic days. Now i Know that these two versions converges totally. If you pretend to release a new version (new sku) alongside this one, i would buy to support you.
Steam prices are much fairer than Nintendo Eshop ones on my poor broke country.
Keep up the good work!
Are you sure you'd want the Royal Edition? It nixes story mode in exchange for an extended arcade mode and a Dog Sword. Sounds like an imbalance of content to me. It would be great if we could get the extended arcade mode and dog sword as additions to the base game here on Steam.
But what I'm saying is it isn't a brand new experience; maybe 10% new. But if you're a fan of the game and want to support the developer, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Shame. I thought you liked money.
Nowadays many people don't know what they want, or what they really like. But one thing they are really good and know how to do is COMPLAIN! I particularly liked your games (I'm even going to buy Princess Madelyn tomorrow). I think you should think about the players who really like and play your games, instead of limiting yourself because of mediocre people. Take advantage of positive feedback to improve your games, and ignore destructive criticism.
