How to deal with Skin Deviler?
I haven't found anything as absolutely difficult as Skin Deviler is. Every time I am unlucky enough to roll the Crystal caves, I get the skin deviler as a boss and it's usually some kind of rush to try to attack it as fast as I can before it does its invulnerable phases. A boss should NOT have invulnerable phases (when the boss is swapping places one block at a time) that allow it to deal massive damage at the same time, while also lasting a rather long time. I think that this would be a lot less problematic if the invul phases would be limited to when it throws all of its blocks in a row rather than one by one to create some sort of hellish bullet hell. Usually I can't manage to dish out enough damage to the boss before it has done multiple invul phases and it hasn't dropped below half health yet. Just now I almost killed it but then it did the invul phase one last time when i was at one hit left and obviously I couldn't do anything but get hit at one point and waste a life.
It just seems absurd that this one boss is much more difficult than everything else in the entire game and it should get a proper revision. For the time being, I'd just like to know what I can do to make this not be so infuriating and actually manageable. I've already beaten the megabeast six times and the final boss within it.

Edit: I just got Hive bolts, stacked up nanobots before going back into the boss room and got dangerously close to the enemy and the nanobots finished it off before it could do another invul phase again. It was still ungodly difficult and at one point i was taking damage at the top of my jump even if there was no meat block flying near me.

Edit 2: Made another run, got Skin Deviler once again and I didn't have nanobots this time. I got through by so little and I had to make use of wall jumps as much as I could, something that isn't really normally available. This boss really needs some balance changes.

There's one technique that I now consistently use during his 'Yellow Devil' Phase; Couching.

Simply Couching allow you to completely ignore the upper three rows as long as nothing comes along the bottom two ones. Though, it does get harder to do as the SD get faster on low health

Fortunately, if you have either the Slide, Arachnomorph or Buzzsaw Shell, you can mostly eliminate the threat of the second-to-bottom row by going underneath it.

i imagine you mean crouching, which I haven't really thought about trying. However I see it throwing blocks at the lower rows very often, and it's usually the blocks that are either right at the top row or bottom row that deal damage to me.
I guess I never thought about the slide/arachnomorph, though. It sounds like skin deviler is just the kind of boss you'll have to be lucky with your run's traversal items before you can really kill it and that's really not something the rest of the bosses demand from you.
