Good to see that you're pretty close to your first goal also as far as that funding is concerned.
It's a shame that your game doesnt have a bigger spotlight on it. Another comparable game with a very stong metroid feel would be Axiom verge, and that game pretty good exposure; so the audience is certainly out there.
in anycase, i feel the game has an amazing framework with a solid amount of content. It definatly left me yearning for more.
My only critique would be that the sound effects for most of fight's weaponry [exception being the charge shot] sound a little too wimpy for the setting, and could use more bass, or a bigger punch considering meat utterly explodes from the attacks.
