Final boss strategies?
I'm having trouble on the final boss. Can you suggest any strategies? I'm currently using a 4* D fire hammer and a +3 6* Vigour hammer with a 50% chance to heal on hit.

If you mean the guy in the temple, I was able to beat him with an ice axe and a 6* big sword. I'd recommend having the ice axe be at least 3* and putting vigor on the big sword. I also had a 6* vigor shield that I would put on just before he used his poison attack, and it allowed me to occasionally evade it, avoiding the poison debuff. You could probably use any elemental shield as long as it has good evade on it. Side note: The big sword is also really good for the lead-in section, as it has really good splash damage that tears the snake handlers apart quickly.

If you mean the guy on the rocky plateau, I was able to beat him with a 6* vigor big sword and a 6* vigor big shield. I also have an ice battleaxe that I interchange with the big sword to keep him ice-debuffed (very important as it makes him attack more slowly, giving you more time to regen armor and get more hits in), and can whip out when he switches to Poison element for extra damage.

Make a battle axe with a sword and a shield, then add a stone wand so you can put runes on it. Then simply add an ice rune. I did it with a 3-star one.

Oh! You're right, my mistake. I always see it as a battleaxe :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Typically the first and third phases are just damage sponges, not really requireing anything specific other than a fire weapon and towering sheild. But the second phase requires a little more attention, especially when it comes to his vigor and aether attack.

?foe=poison
equipR Ice sheild
?foe=vigor
equipR poison sheild
?foe=aether
equipR vigor sheild
?foe=fire
equipR aether sheild
?foe=ice
equipR fire sheild

This script will counter the second phase entirely. No ice or poison to slow you down. No fire to chip your health away. No lifestyle for the boss and no huge damage bursts from the aether attack. If you want to further boost this script you can add weapons with corresponding elements but since the sheilds essentially turn him into a weaker phase 1, you really shouldn't need it unless you're going for a fast time and have some extra max runes or are on a higher star level

Its really not that much, especially considering it's the final boss
