I thought walking into 3d recreations of peoples rooms was amazing and it saddens me to see this is meeting the same fate as Worlds.com.

Please, do not stop trying to develop this game.

It had so much potential to do what VRML couldn't. I still think it'd have done much better if it were open sourced.

Anyway, good luck on future projects.

Janus VR was one of the driving reasons that caused me to become excited enough about virtual reality to buy my own headset. While the news you are dissolving your corporation saddens me, I'm glad you decided to maintain support of the servers and other required infrastructure for the time being. Best of luck to you, and most of all, thank you!

Worlds.com was the first thing I thought of when I read this. Janus VR and Worlds.com both did the whole 3d webpage thing, too. It's strange to think, but Janus VR is the Worlds.com to VRChat's Second Life.

It's kind of fascinating, honestly. I've explored Worlds.com a lot and I'd be lying if I said one of the reasons I want to get a VR headset isn't to do VR exploration. I'm very much so looking forward to checking out what lays around in Janus, someday.

The strange thing is how hardly any of these VR chats have much in the way of creation tools, ala second life.

Sad to hear, Janus had an interesting approach to things. For those looking for a social vr platform with in-game creation tools, give Neos VR a look.

I really, Really! gave this application a chance. Multiple times, But each update seem to not be grounded on what the community wanted or what it really needed, The controls was weird the game crashed way too often and the core issues was not addressed. The updates was adding new obscure features, and nothing to do with improving the foundation of the application. Hate to see this happen but it could had been avoided, You was one of the first, This could had been very big. Still have my respect as once of the first application I used with my DK1.
