where do you get movie battles 2 i really want it but every download ive tryd has faild or just not worked its really anoying im starting to loose hope please help PLEASE
JKA is VERY VERY far from dead for a 10 year old game. Press GET NEW LIST and be sure to click multiplayer when you run JKA. Derp
From my point of view, Movie battle II (also known as MBII) is the best mod of Jedi Academy, maybe because this mod is a big conversion of the original game including a new gameplay, new weapons, a pack of models and of course some new cool maps which belongs to the saga; I would recommend that mod to every star wars fan
JA +, because thats what all the good players had. JKA IS dying, despite what john thinks, he doesnt even understand the server list problem, let alone the lack of players. hell, jk2 has more players... it really depends what you want to do when you play. movie battles might be alright, but most other mods other than JA+ are a bunch of no-force-single-saber-afk-chatters. sigh. but im arguing over a very moot point. check out outin.pk3. i made it.
McWooty was decent until it died in 2008

What about ForceMod III? Thought that was alot of fun.
Movie Battles II is the best mod I'd say.
Evolution of Combat III is the best mod for me. (Until Evolution of Combat VI comes out that is. =)

It's a new mod based on the source code release. We have a decently active server using the mod, though we're not very popular with the community. The main features are ranked duels, race mode, jk2 1.02 saber combat, and the re-creation of ja+ combat. Our server is mostly admin-free with control of the server being left to the players playing on it. Server settings and maps are decided through votes.

The main goals of this mod are as follows, in order of priority:

To recreate the fast-paced fullforce combat seen in JK2, and the JA+ mod for JKA.
To improve the MP style saber hit detection, as seen in JA+.
To remove certain gameplay related exploits.
To improve the weapon (gun) combat and balance.
To add netcode features such as lag compensation for hitscan and projectiles, clientside simulated projectiles, etc.
To add a simple admin system, with little potential for abuse.
To add support for a race gametype, similar to racesow in warsow or defrag in quake 3, with player isolation, accounts, and persistent highscores.
To add other gameplay enhancing features.

The development of the mod is quite active. There's 2 github repos for it if you'd like to follow us. loda (videoP) is the main developer that works on server-side and cgame. I'm the newbie coder that works on mainly the UI.

You can find information about our server here. Everything that's needed to join the server is on the front page. Place the race maps inside your 'GameData/base' folder and the japro plugin inside the 'GameData/japro' folder.
