so i installe the game works alright, but as soon as i start the solo play an error comes up saying no disc in drive- its downloaded from steam; any suggestions

Knights of the Force is essentially nonsense. Everything you get in it you can get off JkHub. A guy in Turkey decided to mass download a bunch of stuff, give it a installer(Which you can get off the Internet), bundle a bunch of Trojan Horses in some copies of the release, and then attempted to illegally sell the game multiple times.



Multiple versions of the game do have Trojans, and are picked up in scans by SuperAntiSpyware and Malewarebytes. One version I tested a few days ago did test positive for several types of Trojans. The mod is unethical, nonsense, it uses extra space on your system for no reason, and it can cause major problems.

Serving in the military does not grant him a free pass. He used work from a lot of different people without getting permission. He tried to sell KOTF. Not to mention, some of the KOTF downloads had viruses.

Seems pretty well done to me. I didn't actually get the game running (the steam version requires a patch for the jamp.exe and the jasp.exe). The menus and the models look great as do the maps. I'd say overall it was a great job and the only problem seems to be the cd check problem on the steam version. I couldn't get mine running even after installing the suggested hotfix though the gameplay and mod itself looks great from the video. I say a lot of work went into making this and it looks as if its professionally done.

A 100% work around for us steam users to the cd check would likely be a good thing for this mod. Trojan? I think that it would have been flagged by the search engines or an online virus detection app if that was the case. It looks like the mixed work of a lot of fans and there's full credits for everyone when it starts up. It looks like all the modelers and skinners are credited as well. Just my opinion though but I haven`t played it yet because of the steam issue. I think that this one is worth taking a bit of a further look into. If anyone has managed to get it working past the disk 1 not in drive error please reply.
