You're limited to a female Twi-lek in that regard. No male equivalent.

Although you can make make your own character, the Star Wars races you're limited to are Twi'lek, Human, Rodian, and Zabrak. Too bad, too. Playing as a Wookie Jedi woud've been so awesome, and perfectly in canon, too.
