Controller Support
Hi all,
I'm very excited to revisit this game (and that awesome movie duels mod) but every time I boot up the game it doesn't recognize my xbox series x controller. I enabled steam input and still nothing. Any advice on how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

check microsfot store updates, may be there smth for you.
Also look in Steam controller settings, and in steamlibrary for games controller settings

Consider playing using modern TaystJK client, for the most vanilla Multipalyer experiance!

Controller doesn't work with this game. You need to use steams controller settings and bind all the keys to controller buttons individually and manually to get it to work or use a program titled "antimicro" if steams controller system is too complicated for you.

how do you bind the keys individually, like can you explain it step by step or no?

in da steam controller settings, you can bind left stick to wasd or arrow keys for movement, right stick to mouse -- pretty much you can use steam to bind ur controller's buttons to act as keyboard or mouse inputs. it can take a little figuring out what to bind where, but can get it working good enough that controller feels good to play
