autoexec.cfg never works

I've tried everything I can find.

• Making autoexec doesn't work.
  
• Execing it in the main menu and loading manual save doesn't work.
  
• Modifying jaconfig doesn't even work.

Nothing. Works.
I have to keep enabling them in the console for every level I load and that barely even works. If I pause it, it stops working and I have to enable it again. Some of the commands are write protected for some reason. At this point, I'm convinced that Disney had devs neuter this game in an update at some point in the resent past.
If someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, please tell me.

Can't help yo out with SP sadly as I dont play it for almost two decades...
All works smooth for MP to me.
Only things that gets o nmy mind are :

• Try running jasp.exe as an admin
  
• Try to add startup parameter in Steam library for JediAcademy, or in jamp.exe properties (+/execute autoexec)

These are my only suggestions I can give.

Running as admin will be your best friend. We all have that error at one point playing or installing JKA

I did that. I got it to mostly work but for some reason the "broadsword" command never seems to work no matter what I do.
