But kinda psycho-patology is existant everywhere in multiplayer gaming.
I deal with it by attempting to create smaller groups, focused on certain type of mind-set in the particular game environment.
Every public-server not well maintained by admin is a hell that some may find funny (sangvinist types of people, sarcastic toned ones and those who lack on any kinda empathy and self-reflection)
...It was always better for me to change my own mindset, or a place where I play (setting rules/borders for others) that helped me enjoy a game. :-))
Do not hesitate to set borders, but do not expect them to behave according to them. Just communicate exactly and precisely what you dislike and why you gonna ignore/disagree and/or leave, rather than trying to change their approach.
Cause the only way to change anyone(including ourselves) is to let them/us see our/their surroundings change in our/their disfavor.
...although, for such process theres always social inteligence quocient needed, whereas one of the features is called Empathy. ;-))

the thing is tho that the game runs off small groups who tend to treat people like ♥♥♥♥ who dont follow there redicoulse crap in mb2

There is no better help than the generalizing aspect I just sent you.
I do keep certain players out of my server,atleast till I am there expecting something/someone. With all the respect to everyone I just set rules that I first communicate, I do teach the people what can they expect from me after flaming me, telling me inconstructive "blah-blahs"..overall teaching them that they can spend time with me in my rules-set till they accept it smoothly, after they god bored of find themselves not accepting it anymore...they alaways can leave, thats what I suggest them, cause if they start teaching me what is wrong with me, I do just precisely and quickly kick them, write down IP (as they then fake players or connect as "Padawans" :-)) ) and slowly starting to disrespect their presence till complete ban.
They always can make their rules-sets, its democracy again after all the Rebellion job done on Imperial bastards! :-))
