"t2_wedge" is bugged for me, please help!

I have been playing jedi academy for the last week, loving the game btw, but i am stuck because of a bug.
On the mission where you are on some kind of empire base in the sky and you have to place beacons for the rebel pilots to blow up. The third objective is to place a beacon by the empire baracks and when i am down at the correct place, I can't see the red little ghost of where its supposed to be.
I can walk trough it tho, its like it is there but i cant interact with it.
I dont have a clue of what to do! Please help!

try loading an older save file or restarting the mission/map?

i remember that. its not a bug, i think you are inside it when you are supposed to be on the roof or vice versa. its confusing because noobs made this game, its not you.

Alright, i was searching around the barrakcs for about 30 minutes and i didnt find anything.
I searched the roof and the little bottom platform. nothing. i restarted the mission and it didnt change anything. Any one got any other ideas?

I too have this issue presently and like SoicialistGurkan, I know where to find the beacon for the barrack's rofttop but it simply is not there, I have watched the youtube walkthrough posted by Shwarts in this dicussion which is of no assistance as the beacon is not there.It isn't difficult to locate and get to the correct spot but a bug prevents displying the ghost red beacon to interact with like the other beacons so am locked. I shall try reloading a previouse save and hope for the best but am guessing the bug will be there and I will be locked without options to move forward in the game. If anyone else has this issue and found a plausable solution, thank you in advance for the help.

I have confirmed, the bug exists even if I go back to the beginning of the mission and reply it via a earlier save, so this bug prevents playing the game Even if I go back further to another mission, I would have to complete this mission to move the game foward at one point so this bug makes the game unplayable sadly.

I have this issue too. I couldn't find the solution, but I found out that you have to finish only 4 missions to move the game. So if you want continue the story you have to skip this bugged mission and do next two. Then you can come back to the Academy.

Man, I'm replaying this game and it's a buggy mess.

I had 3 game breaking bugs prior and now this is fourth, not to mention glitches... So what's the solution? I can't take it anymore, I'm going to open the console command and skip the level.

What's the console command to skip the level? I had an issue where the game didn't drop a key card needed to progress...

AFAIK, there doesn't seem to be a way to skip a level. However, you can load a new map by typing "devmap <map name>" for example,

devmap hoth2
