it was and it is a great star wars game!
buy it and try it if it run not well just make a refund :D
My question was regarding the game itself not technical issues (both KOTORs worked fine and I run many old games using DOSBox so I don't expect a technical issue tbh) so my question was more about how fun the SP is and whether the story, missions and atmosphere worth it if you compare to the KOTOR games.
I compare it to them because I recently played them so I can properly assess the probable value of this game if it is compared to the KOTOR games.
Actually I played the original Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith expansion too but long ago (I still remember them quite well though) so a comparison to those is also useful.
In terms of gameplay Do not compare KOTOR to JK2/JKA. KOTOR is an RPG. and JK2/JKA is more of a fps/tps lightsaber game.
Jedi Knight 2, and Jedi Academy with g_realisticsabercombat enabled along with dismemberment truly make you feel like a badass jedi, also combat with sith is very skill based and requires you to be quick with your force powers and force jumps to avoid having your head chopped clean off by a lucky saber throw.
