Game crashes when starting multiplayer servers

I am trying to start a game on Taspir with bots and the game crashes every time I try to load into a map.

the vanilla game has a problem with loading into MP games with a widescreen resolution on newer hardware/software nowadays. switch to a lower resolution in the menus, and then switch back to whatever widescreen resolution you use when you get into the game. no, i don't know why it's like this. i only tried to play recently and figured out this was an issue on baseja. if i were you, i'd make a couple of cfg files to switch your resolutions around when you need to join a new server/create a new one, and use /exec "cfgfilename" to switch around my resolutions when i need to, maybe even binding the commands to keys.
