Finally beat it on jedi master.
1st, I'm not much of a 1st person shooter player, hell I can get motion sickness from those games, but I love old school star wars. Repeated short exposures can get rid of the sickness.

2nd, 5 or 10 years ago, I finally played both JO and JA (borrowed them) all the way through, 1st time playing. JO had some really challenging boss fights (Tavion and Desann killed me so many times [that includes the pit fight dev map round 2 Tavion]), and I think had some struggles with JA early bosses and Tavion's apprentice.

So when I got to the last bosses in JA, I expected some epic challenge, well I steam rolled all 4 boss fights on my first friggin try (Style, Strong always, Powers, Lighting and all light side powers). I advanced on the last mission at the same time, doing both light side and dark side. Light side boss fight was a cake walk, that surprised me but surely Kyle would at least give me a challenge. He didn't. I wondered if I got lucky, so tried all 4 fights, again. Well, winning has never been so disappionting. While the final fights weren't epic, I did enjoy the games, and returned the disc to my cousin. Mention the final fight, and he said try it on Jedi Master.

3rd, So this time I did it on Jedi Master. I didn't dare try it with JO. It was defitely tougher and it took me 3 days to kill all 4 final bosses. Tavion, I could kill in a straight up fight with almost no force powers (just jump) and yeah, that's bizarre after how she terrorized me in both the dev map pit and Cloud City in JO. This time I skipped Mind Trick and got Force Rage. I couldn't have beaten either Kyle or Tavion-Ragnos without Force Rage. Kyle was defitely much harder. Is there any defense against his grapple, punch, and throw? I could reduce damage by putting on Protect. I notice he spammed his powers when he was near the end of his life bar.

Tavion-Ragnos was hard but not as bad as Kyle. This is how I finally killed her. Rage had helped, I even beat her on some saber locks, and knocked her to the ground, though every time she either got out of the way or did a move that knocked me on my ass and helped her stand up. I even once disarmed her. I was getting tired of dying, it was late, so I decided screw around. Something I stumbled on, if you shot her from a distance with a gun, she'll come to you. I wanted to see if any of guns could kill her. I placed myself at the top of the ramp on the opposite side from the throne. So she comes at me coming up the ramp, letting me pick when to turn on rage, we got into a saber lock, I knocked her on her ass down the ramp, saw my character do the auto kill/stab ground move and thought 'What's the point, she'll get away,' and the screen goes black; cut scene. :) Between rage and the fall down the ramp, I got that extra 1/2 second I needed to land the killing blow. There were plenty of times where on level ground she was down, I had rage already on, and she got away. That downramp helped me bigtime.

I've only killed both final bosses once on Master difficulty.

Aside comment, I was very annoyed when I had saber locks with saber staff users. I'm fine with getting killed; what annoyed me is that they kill me with thier extended handle; that's not a light saber blade.

Using the default jka combat system, pretty much any NPC is easily beaten with ( circle strafe left constantly + red style). If you keep circle strafing (holding down a and w), the first red swing will be a normal slow windup swing, but then it will start rapidly firing horizontal swings. Try it, get the feel for it. You can easily stomp Tavion and Kyle with that technique + either protect+absorb or just rage. Beat on them for a bit, then LOS them with pillars to heal and get force back, repeat as needed. Kyle is tougher because he will disarm you constantly and you have to stay a few feet away from him at all times or he does unstoppable grapple move for ~40 health damage, plus he spams heal when you leave him alone. He also will cast speed to try and zip around a pillar and get you. But not hard to kill, it just takes forever. Kyle is a spacing fight, you have to stay far enough away to not get grabbed, but close enough that he is swinging at you (swinging stops healing). Press push+jump to get out of saber locks, its not worth it for the player to even participate in them since it instakills you if you lose, and its only worth 2 red swings on them if you win.
