How do I make the game full screen? (1080p)

I already tried doing this:
"/r_mode -1
/r_customwidth 1920
/r_customheight 1080
/vid_restart"

But that didn't work at all, the entire screen was completely off centre, please is there any other way to fix this?

This is what I have in my jaconfig.cfg

seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_fullscreen "1"
seta r_mode "-1"

Is your lines as you have posted as you seem to be missing some " and have some / which perhaps might be messing things up.
