is the single player good?

im looking for a good star wars SP game, is this good for SP or just MP

SP is excellent if you're looking for great lightsaber duels and the use of force powers. As a first person shooter its decent.

It's okay. The previous game (Jedi Outcast) is a much better singleplayer experience though. Jedi Academy is better for Multiplayer.

Yeah I agree. Although Jedi Academy has some neat stuff with the character customization, force power customization and single/double/2 lightsaber styles in singleplayer. I started with Academy and later played Outcast, and they are about equal for me.

I only say yes because this game takes me back to my childhood but i do believe jedi outcast had a better story

The Jedi Knight games, Outcast and Academy are the best star wars games. Academy is the sequel to Outcast. It has a shorter story but a lot of customisation to it. Playing Outcast is an experience to be sure. I don't want to spoil any of it so just play it. The controls of Academy are more refined too.
Like CrimsoN said "they are about equal for me" is the same for me. Both are brilliant but give different things to offer in the overall picture.

also if you don't mind spending the money fallen order has a great story and awesome gameplay. but the lightsaber fights can't compare to jedi outcast or jedi academy

This is very true. However, I would recommend buying just Jedi Academy, as there is a mod that ports Jedi Outcast's campaign into JA, giving you the best of both worlds. Also, even aside from the story, the multiplayer can be fun with just bots and even the singleplayer has a lot of replay value if you learn how to use commands and whatnot to basically make the game a sandbox.

Having played a ton of MP the control differences between SP and MP frustrate me to the point of not enjoying SP, it just feels very floaty.
