Do you have any other mods installed?
Did you buy your game on Steam or some other site?

The latest version of the MBII Launcher can be downloaded here:
https://community.moviebattles.org/pages/download/

Once you download the "MBII Launcher" file, open it with WinRAR (or any other software which allows you to unpack .zip files)
and make sure you extract both files from "MBII Launcher.zip" to your GameData folder.

GameData folder can be found in your Steam/steamapps/common/JediAcademy/GameData directory.

Once you've done that, run the "MBII Launcher.exe" as an Administrator and it should start properly.

I had downloaded the file from this site, I did exactly as you said, even if in download I could click directly on the file and it made me extract directly into the Gamedata folder, however I did as your instructions, extracted with zip, but nothing not works, when I go to run as administrator, I press yes, but nothing happens the laucher does not appear.

The same thing is happening to me, I try to play it, it tries to launch the game, but then it crashes. What the hell is up with that?

I'm sorry, I can't think of anything that might be causing this issue.

Hopefully, other MB2 community members will be able to help you fix the problem.
I suggest you join the Discord channel and explain your situation in the "Support" section. People there know the mod the best, since they've created it.

Here's a link to the official MovieBattles 2 Discord channel:

Good luck and I hope to see you in MovieBattles! :2017stickydrink:

I can't tell you, a couple of years ago it worked very well, now I tried to reinstall it but nothing.

thanks to the support of the discord page of the mod the problem was solved by doing this step : Delete the folder - C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Local\Movie_Battles_Team

this for anyone with the same problem.

Thanks for reporting back!

I'm glad to hear the mod works for you!

not a perfect solution but if you edit Steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/GameData/base/jacong.cfg (or jampconfig.cfg for multiplayer) and change:
seta r_fullscreen "1"
to
seta r_fullscreen "0"

this will force windowed mode and it should work from there.
