If you want a single player mod, I recommend you to get this one since it's the best one imo.
This mod allows you to fight the lightsaber battles of the prequel era of star wars plus The Force Unleashed 1 and some additional challenges.

A Remastered edition of the original, 2009 “Movie Duels 2” mod for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, with updated maps, models, sounds and various other improvements, to bring the mod into the modern age.

It looks like they have added a new lightsaber combat . If you don't like it you can still use the JA lightsaber combat.

no LS combat is different since the developers changed animations of it.(Each character has it's own unique animations.for example Starkiller holds lightsaber backward.)

Ah, okay so If I wanted to install it to my game, do i install from the site you linked or from the JKhub forum where the creator posted it?

The Moddb one.(Since the developers put links of their moddb page in JKhub.)
Just make sure you get the latest version.(Since they keep making the graphics better.)

In game, if you get annoyed by lightsabers bouncing off, change the lightsaber impact option from MD 2 to JA.

It doesn't change single player. It is a completely new campaign that features prequel era lightsaber duels/fights.(With some challenges and missions that aren't in prequel movies.)

So Lightsaber Combat isn't different? It's still the same?

LS combat is WAY more cinematic, as the sabers bounce off each other when they come into contact. Just make sure the saber impact effect is set to "MD mode" in the options.

Unfortunately from what I searched, it isn't available for Mac.

From what the mod developer said in that link, the mod doesn't work on Mac.
