Is movie battles the only way to play multiplayer now?

I have been trying to find a vanilla server, as i love the base combat in this game but i couldnt find anything, every single server was moded, and mobie battles only... So i tried the mod for a while, had some fun but yeah, its not the kind of combat i'd really want to play. I prefer vanilla. So... there any vanilla servers out there? From what i've heard, the server list doesnt work anymore but i can clearly see all the movie battles servers out there. Is there any server still up that has players somewhere? i really would love to play this game like when i was a kid in multiplayer again, it was so damn fun and it would be a shame if the vanilla was dead :c

well, i live in spain so maybe for some reason they dont show up on the server list anymore? :c

i was able to find near night time a server that was "vanilla" but it was actually modded as ♥♥♥♥, forced first person with lightsaber, custom maps and a custom font, which actually made me have to alt f4 to get out of the game, couldnt read where the quit button was lmao. But yeah, thanks, maybe if i join at the right time i could see the server somewhere on the list... hopefully.

I'm honestly bothered that movie battles doesn't work with other mods, I'm considering copying my Jedi Academy file and posting it somewhere else so I can keep my mods. But at the same time, I'm not too sure if I want to play Movie Battles

Well, i've played movie battles a while but as i said, i... dont like that kind of gameplay you get, i mean its fun and all, it was great fun but just for a couple of minutes playing dumbly around but after a while you really want to be able to play seriously and i just cant help to bring myself to play movie battles seriously and enjoy it, its not as fun and entertaining as the base game is, at least to me, that is just personally.

I wouldn't know if they are, but if you are bored of open on MB2 try Full Authentic sometime. It's pretty dope.

There are clans and servers still active but they play with the JA+ mod. still pretty basic imo but different then Base. You should give it a try if you feel like it, JoF is active clan with high activity. If you plan to literally play Base only you should check the serverlist on JKhub and play around 8/9 in the evening your time my man. Hope this helps

Dont you worry, before i posted i checked other forums and already found them jof people, not sure what the hell is it they want, saw their website and their vids and decided i had to stay as far away from it as i do from drugs. Treat it like cancer i guess. lmao XD

I am not very familiar with jof. Care to explain what this is all about?

Edit: Is their in-game tag by any chance {JoFA}? On the server I play, we have had one trying to get on three times and failing on all three occassions.

Yeah, what is this jof business anyways? i got no idea and all i can read on every single post that brings up jof is that they have some sort of fight against this kody dude and that they are apparently quite s h i t t y /troll or something, i mean, what do they really offer? their website doesnt make things clearer after all, it actually makes it harder to understand what the hell is it they are trying to sell. lmao

They don't really play anymore and tend to target newbies for extreme griefing the server is a literal gutter ♥♥♥♥ hole ran by a admin who is a massive scammer. They hate me and a few others with extreme passion and tell other members to bash us any chance they can get to try to ruin our reputation. The forum is for insiders and they make fun of everyone on the server and trash people who are mentally ill etc really messed up stuff tbh.

Yeah i noticed that, they really were talking trash about you on the other forum i saw you for the first time... i didnt know why i expected that posting something would bring anything new to the table but... sadly nope.avi, still the same as always, im just tired of seeing these jof dudes around copy pasting the same messages ffs, isnt there a single server you can play a decent game of jedi academy in?! how much i loved dueling when i was a kid back in the day when i first got this game, and still for the time there were barely any servers left, most people i could play with were some random strangers from time to time on jedi outcast and now both are dead af. Guess i better give up hope on finding any good servers and start making my own...
