STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy™

Really, this game is as unbalanced as hell.
I have replayed the final levels a lot.(Guess due to this that I'm a huge Star Wars fan) on Jedi Master difficulty and boy this game is too unbalanced and unfair.

1.Some times, one cultist will force grip you and the other one will throw a saber at you which results in instant game overs.

2.The saber lock system may get you kill sometimes due to this that it may happen when your lightsaber is in a bad position. That allows the enemy to win it the moment it begins.(Again another instant game over)

3.Enemies can easily kill you with force drain if you have below 15 force points.

4.Those cultist masters are too unbalanced.(They are even more powerful than final bossfights)

5.You can feel that enemies most of the time just read your input and just do counter moves to instantly kill the player.(Similar to Mortal Kombat 2 AI)

6.There are also sometimes that one attack will just kill you in full health which is so annoying.

7.Non lightsaber enemies have their own cheap moments too. Rodian Snipers are a pain in the ass and those Hazard troopers with concussion rifles are too annoying.(Without speed you can't even counter/dodge their bullets)

8.Force Lightning level 3 is so OP that it makes every non lightsaber enemies(Excluding rocket troopers and Hazard troopers so weak against you)

9.Enemies also have moves that you don't have(Kick moves) and they can also cancel some of your attacks by force push/pull which I haven't been able to do that.

Really JK 2 was at least far more balanced than this even though that that game had a slow beginning.

/Rant.

You've gotten to the final level on Jedi Master difficulty? My respects, sir. I dabbled with the second highest difficulty(Jedi Knight?) in Jedi Outcast and couldn't make it halfway through the first level.

You can do it by using quick-save , quick-load tactic .

In JA that's easier since you can get lightning level 3 after 2 missions.(Which makes majority of the encounters in the first 2 part a piece of cake.)

what force powers you running?

I've finished this game on master difficulty before. In order to complete this level with no trouble, I usually (recommend) play(ing) with these force powers that make the game easier.

1. Force Grip Level 3 (Quickly throw sith over edges)
2. Lightning Level 3 (Quickly kills cultist guys)
3. Force Heal (Do I have to explain this one?)
4. Mind trick 3(For those huge stormtroopers with bolt shots and rockets)
5. Rage (DONT GET THIS ONE, ITS USELESS)
6. Drain (This one is good only when on level 3)

Always, ALWAYS, have the force push button ready. For me, force push is the most useful.

Other than that, be skillful with the lightsaber. Don't just swing it like a mad man.

P.S. The attack which will be most helpful to you is by holding c (crouch) while moving forward and THEN hitting the left mouse button.

Have fun.

I've already test those.

The main problem of the game is that even with those you can't avoid insta death because this game hasn't balanced that well.(Which I've already told some examples of balance issues in this game that aren't related to force powers.)

Today I found 2 more balance issues.

1.On stairs(uneven ground) if a saberlock happens , your attack may not hit the enemy.

2.enemies may suddenly decide to force push you. Which results in your death since it's completely unavoidable.(It's not movie battles 2 where running is necessary for the force push to work)

The rubber band effect does happen a lot of the time. the game runs the inputs and then will run your inputs backwards until your move is finally countered by a back input. No one runs lightning 3 unless they wanna easy way out. Sometimes even if you don't run your force sense the enemies won't die. There's all kinds of rubber bands in this and it just continues. I found if you run a high light side with Force Rage maxed most encounters can be taken care of once the Ai stops trying to rape you. I also run my blaster on button press so I can shoot first.

I have never had an instance where the computer and I don't negate eachothers force pushes and pulls till 2019. They have never pushed me off a ledge since 2004?
