First person light saber

Hi I noticed that I should be able to activate first person light saber with this command cg_fpls 1, however nothing happens in the game... could someone tell me how could I make work this properly, or could someone tell me about any mod out there to play it in first person while using the light saber please? I found a mod, but it doesn't work properly, and it has some bugs that I don't like at all... I wont never understand why devs didn't implemented the first person option... but I really hate it... I can't understand it trully and it is too much for my patience. I have played this game in third person, and I can do it, but I really want this in first person. I understand that a good mod for this with the whole aspects fixed must be hard to obtain... but it should be exist :(

I use ja++. It allows you to go in first person while also giving you extra settings (saber colors, distance of your player model etc)

Can this work in single?

In addition I am reading the installation instructions and it speaks about the file "japlus" but I haven't such file in my GameData file.... so while I see your screenshot... I notice that you are playing something different than the single player... and that is not what I want :(

I didn't know you wanted it for single player. You should have stated that. I'm not sure how to use first person mode in single player. As for the japlus folder, you would simply create that folder yourself and drop the contents of ja++ into it.

Thanks for the explanation, and yes you are right, I should have indicated that... I thought that this game hadn't multiplayer, I just noticed that I was wrong, and it has multiplayer like Outcast. Personally now I can't understand nothing even less... therefore multiplayer can work in first person... but single can't.... I won't understand why devs did this ♥♥♥♥..... 4 titiles before jedi acadmy were in first person.... why this last one wasn't... why multiplayer can support first person.... but not the single WHY??? XDDDDD don't worry I'm just screaming the sky.

how do you make first person mode for multiplayer? There is first person mod for singlerplayer but it crash the game when I try to play it in multiplayer.

There are mods that help you do this. You can check this guide for the latest multiplayer client {JoF}EternalJK and you can switch to First Person Lightsaber (FPLS for short) from the Camera settings when you're playing on server. After installing the client according to the steps in the guide, in order to enable First Person Lightsaber press ESC & you go to Camera (found at the very bottom with 3 settings, Camera is at the left) and toggle FPLS: On and Gun 3rd Person: Off. To revert changes do the opposite (FPLS: Off ; Gun 3rd Person: On)

Honestly, I could appreciate if someone can make a new threat about how to play Jedi Knight Academy in first person while playing in multi because that has nothing to do with what I asked for a long time ago.
