For same reason , this code is not working for me, even though i've done all the necessary steps for activating it, like using the activation cheat and spelling it correctly, is there something im missing?

it doesnt work (from what i know atleast) on steam version, only on original disc version.

try running /devmap <name of the map>
like:

/devmap taspir1

do /dir map
for list of maps

again I ask. Are you people typing helpusobi 1 into console before you type any other cheats and while you're ingame.

You don't type in cheats at the main menu and you need to be ingame to enable them.

"Ingame" means inside a level walking around

If you are the creator disabled all the cheat commands and most console commands :(\

g_saberrealisticcombat is JK2 command. Use g_sabermorerealistic instead.

Recyclebin: Yeah, I heard about that. Like I said, my console responds with "g_sabermorerealistic is write-protected" when I try to adjust the value.

create "dismember.cfg" in your "Jedi Academy\GameData\base" folder and type this inside it.

seta helpusobi 1
seta g_sabermorerealistic 3


then in main menu, type "exec dismember" in console.

usable values for it are from 0 to 3. 2 is same as 3 but without the laser touch damage.
also, the value will reset if you start new game. so only use load game or start map with devmap...
