A request for the MBII guys to stop telling every new player to ignore base

Vanilla JKA has so many good communities. MBII is not an evolution. at most it is nearly equal to vanilla. To all new players wanting to have a good time on a community that requires no downloads type /connect lugormod.tk into console. You can open console by holding shift+tilde. Also as a community as a whole it is better to attempt to keep the whole game alive by not getting every new player onto 1 singular mod. So new players wanting or thinking of playing MP. Don't listen to anybody trying to get you into 1 mod or server only. Try many of them out and see which one is best for you. -Sheev from LugorMod EU

the issue is that people leave jka and people come to jka. that would be fine even and playerbase might even grow slightly over time. but with every new player being blindly told to just "go download Movie Battles 2" it creates an inbalance where base slowly loses its players and gains little to no new players to replace the older ones because they are all told to go to MBII. It is actually slowly killing JKA.

Lugormod is full of fanny roleplayers,ja+ is much better, MB2 is pretty awesome, just sucks that most of the servers are full of cancer

lugormod has one server atm since most died after the Peoples Propaganda Department of MBII got every new player into MBII and base slowly started to die. Lugormod has 4 balanced classes (5 if you include unreg) Jedi (which is force user with level 5 light side powers and lvl 3 saber) sith (same as jedi except dark side) merc (235 hp 235 shield all guns with double ammo capacity but no force at all) and grey (which is a mix of jedi and sith powers). The last active lugormod has instant level 40 (meaning no grinding to keep up like old lugormod and has base saber mechanics. If you want base FFA then come lugor. Its the closest you will get and you get the good features of lugor. Anyone who says that lugor is full of roleplayers obviously has not played it in like 5 years...

iv been trying to get the Eoc mod to work for the singleplayer part of it and have to say its complete garbage and its meant to be one of the best sp mods about, MB2 is still probably the best mod for this game imo, even tho i love me some ja+ :)

MB2 basically butchers the game and ends up as an inferior battlefront 2 (non EA version). its not hard to understand why basers are angry that base is dying to an inferior battlefront 2...
