Just Coming Back After A Long Break

Yo whats up duellists? So I've been wanting to come back to duel links for a while but with all the new boxes and deck themes etc.... idk where to begin. I used to play the paper version many years ago when things were a lot more basic and I've played a little duel links since then, but its been a while. what boxes should i buy or certain deck lists i should go for? Any help would be great thanks :)

The most recent box has all of the Dragonmaid cards (ignoring of course the new announced cards) so it's best to start there. You only really need 1-2 of the UR and that's it you also need the Dragonmaid Sheou spelcial set for a copy of her. You can build pure and put in some staples if you need to, the ED can just be random Links that can be made. It's a really solid deck rn

The box also has Tri-Brigade and Impcantation which are good though Impcantation is just Ritual support, outside of that though it has support for Elemental HERO, Crystal Beast and some other stuff. Oh yeah KONAMI is also having a anniversary and has the newest Structure Deck (It's a Neos themed structure) for 1k gems and you can get an additional copy of it for free. Btw HERO is currently the best deck in the meta and everybody is whining about it so much it's hilarious

Also 1 more thing the game now has RUSH Duels so you should probably see about investing in that if you enjoy them, if you need to figure out what to build go straight for the Cyber Dragon HERO and Galaxy Structure Deck you might still be able to get all 3 as a F2P if the special event is still going on

indeed, neos fusion should be a 1 off card or strait up fully banned. dropping a 5k attack monster widhout having any downsides is a big joke.

and on top let it fizzle any effect destroying that monster to.

this new rainbow neos + black hole is just an OTK for me , this is one of the most pathetic otk in my 1500 hours on this game

Can use Black Hole like bait. Honestly, it doesn't though. Turn 2 or 3 OTK almost guaranteed everytime. Even if you manage to stall the turns out, the abilities and hella support the Heroes get for no reason gives the deck non-stop OTKs with or without Rainbow. It's dusgusting honestly.

rainbow can wipe out either row. So they can also wipe the other, guranteeing you will have no cards to respond. Only thing which really helps is having a kuriboh on your hand to survive that turn but thats still majorily undeserved. Going first against heroes is almost a guranteed loss

Casual reminder Rainbow doesn't just board wipe it shuffles back all cards in the opponent's GY, really good and underappreciated effect
