Special Set: UR “Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss” Bundle!

There’s a new Speed Duel Special Set available in the Shop, and it features the Level 9 Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss! This Synchro Monster packs a lot of power. Take a look at what it can do!

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss can by Synchro Summoned by using a Tuner plus a non-Tuner DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster. It has 3200 ATK, 2500 DEF, and the power to stop just about any card. During either player’s turn, you can target a face-up card your opponent controls and negate its effects until the end of the turn. You can use this effect to negate the effects of Spells, Traps, or monsters, allowing your Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss to overcome just about anything! In addition, when your Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can target a Tuner monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it in Defense Position. That newly Summoned monster can help you Summon additional Synchro Monsters later in the Duel. Because of its power, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss has already been added to the Limited 1 List.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss works particularly well with the new Witness Why I am Known as the True King! Speed Duel Skill. This Skill makes it a breeze to play a Level 8 “Red Dragon Archfiend” monster onto the field so that you can Synchro Summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss by just adding a Level 1 Tuner. The Skill also makes it easy to Set a Fiendish Chain Trap Card to your field. Fiendish Chain can negate the effects of an opponent’s monster and stop that monster from attacking. Using Fiendish Chain to neutralize an opponent’s monster will make it easier to perform big Synchro Summoning plays without getting stopped by the effects of monsters on your opponent’s field.

New cards from the Scarred Resonance Speed Duel Main BOX also work well with Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss. Scarred Dragon Archfiend, for example, is a DARK Level 8 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster, which makes it the perfect Synchro Material to use along with a Level 1 Tuner while Summoning Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss. If it’s sent from the Monster Zone to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon a Red Dragon Archfiend from your Extra Deck – and if it’s sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material for a DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster like Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, you can then destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls! This combination of effects will make it easy to defeat your opponent after using Scarred Dragon Archfiend as a Synchro Material to Summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss.
