Imagine if masked heroes got a skill to substitute a card in the hand with any hero card from the deck twice. They would be top tier in no time.
No it wouldn't, just cause you give them a powerful skill doesn't make it top tier it just makes it better, if this logic had existed then Photon would've been remotely tiered with it's skill but it didn't cause the deck itself was never viable. There are examples of decks getting top tier cause of an exclusive skill but at the same time way more examples of decks getting top tier without an exclusive skill
Getting any HERO from your deck wouldn't make them better unless you specifically needed that 1 HERO to use for a setup which even then doesn't mean you won't get negated easily
I really wish there was a game mode where abilities weren't used.
well today konami announce yuigoh duel master a new game with master rule like legacy of the duelist but with official tournament.
I hope it doesn't get abandoned as quickly as legacy of the duelist did. The talk about tournaments and events makes me hope it will at least sort of get the kind of support duel links does
