Two New Rush Duel Special Sets!
There are two new Special Sets available in the Shop, and they each include a powerful card to use in Rush Duels! Take a look at the exclusive cards available in the Special Set: UR “Pot of Avarice” Bundle and the Special Set: UR “Rice Terrace Crisis” Bundle!

Pot of Avarice

The Special Set: UR “Pot of Avarice” Bundle includes packs of the latest Rush Duel BOX, Card Sleeves featuring Pot of Avarice, a special Pot of Avarice Icon, and of course, the Pot of Avarice Rush Duel Spell Card. Duelists who engage in Speed Duels may be familiar with Pot of Avarice, since Pot of Avarice is also available as a Speed Duel card. The Rush Duel counterpart is slightly different.

Just like Pot of Avarice (Speed), Pot of Avarice (Rush) is a Spell Card that lets you shuffle 5 monsters from your Graveyard into your Deck to draw 2 cards. The Rush Duel version of the card, however is a Legend Card. That means if you include it in your Deck, you can’t use any other Legend Cards that are Spells.

It’s easy to get 5 monsters into your Graveyard in Rush Duels, since you can Normal Summon any number of monsters each turn, and draw up to 5 cards at the start of each turn. For most Decks, it’s even easier to activate Pot of Avarice in Rush Duels than in Speed Duels. Plus, in a Rush Duel, it’s important to avoid running out of cards that are key to your strategy. Pot of Avarice (Rush) lets you recycle your best monsters, including your Legend Monster, Maximum Monsters, and monsters used as Fusion Materials, so that you can draw them again.

Rice Terrace Crisis

The Special Set: UR “Rice Terrace Crisis” Bundle includes packs of the latest Rush Duel BOX, Card Sleeves featuring the artwork on Rice Terrace Crisis, a special Rice Terrace Crisis Icon, and the Rice Terrace Crisis Rush Duel Trap Card. Rice Terrace Crisis isn’t a Legend Card, but it is on the Limited 1 List. That means you can use other Legend Trap Cards like Negate Attack (Rush) and Widespread Ruin (Rush) in the same Deck as Rice Terrace Crisis, but can’t use it in the same Deck as other Limited 1 cards like Sword & Shield and Burst Stream of Destruction.

You can activate Rice Terrace Crisis when your opponent Special Summons a monster from the hand or Graveyard. Its effect will change up to 2 face-up monsters on your opponent’s field whose total Levels equal 12 or less to face-down Defense Position. Rice Terrace Crisis will render the monsters it flips face-down harmless on the turn they were Summoned, and can affect multiple monsters at once. Plus, in Rush Duels, Duelists using the Fusion Spell Card can only fuse together face-up monsters with Fusion’s effect. If you put those monsters face-down with Rice Terrace Crisis, your opponent won’t be able to use them as Fusion Materials on the turn they’re Summoned.

There are lots of popular cards that Special Summon monsters from the hand or Graveyard, including Cyber Entry, Star Restart, Secret Order, and Star Trancer. These cards create plenty of opportunities to activate Rice Terrace Crisis to disrupt an opponent’s plan.

The two new Rush Duel Special Sets are now available in the Shop, and both of them feature a powerful card worthy of use in competitive Rush Dueling! Be sure to pick them up so that you can use Pot of Avarice (Rush) and Rice Terrace Crisis in your Rush Duel Decks!
